You may experience difficulty with opening a live video invitation link if you have a Samsung device.
Reason: Samsung has a built-in browser that automatically opens any links from a text message. The Samsung browser is not a browser MirrorMe supports so the system does not recognize it. The user will need to set another browser, like Chrome, Firefox, Edge as their default browser to open a MirrorMe link.
Note: MirrorMe only supports the use of Chrome, Edge, and Firefox browsers on Android devices.
To fix this issue if the link automatically navigates to a Samsung browser:
- Click the “More” or "..." up top

A drop down will appear

Select “Open in Browser” to navigate to one of the accepted browsers
The user can also copy the link from their message and paste into one of our accepted browsers to launch a live video session.
To avoid this issue all together, disable the Samsung browser in phone settings.
