The Merge Call feature provides the capability to record audio from mobile devices when the call was originally initiated from another telephone source outside of MirrorMe.
MirrorMe developed this feature to make audio recordings available after every live video session. This state-of-the-art solution helps to solve the issue call centers face today with the additional security encryption and authentication mechanism placed on smartphones by providers.
Here's how to merge a call after you send a live video invite.
Merging a call to your live video session:
1. While waiting for the participant to join the live video session, click the Merge Call icon to link audio to your live video call.
- A pop-up will appear to provide you with conference details to merge the call.
2. Dial the +1 (888) 343-0377 number. From the UK use: +44 115 647 4313
- Follow the recorded prompt to add the unique Session Code
3. Then use your communication's system merge call feature to join the two calls.
- You and the participant may hear a recorded voice that confirms you have merged the call successfully. Make sure to inform the participant the call will be recorded to provide proper notice.
After the call, the video and audio recording for your live video session will be available in the activity log.
...and that's it! You've successfully merged calls.
